I imagine you mean getting fault codes from the BSI?

The diagnostic socket is on the underside of the fascia (aka dashboard) just above the driver's right leg (on RHD cars, anyway).

Early cars (before some date in 2001, I think) do not comply with EOBD, and you need the Peugeot proprietary tester, which is Peugeot Planet 2000 software and a hardware interface called Lexia 3. Example here. It is also the best tester for later cars

Yes. You cannot connect directly to the BSI ..

But you can't download the BSI .. you can alter some settings with PlanetPeugeot2000 though ..
