Steering
Good afternoon all, could anyone offer some advise. Few months ago got a 2005 2.0 convertible. One owner, very low mileage - like new. The steering is very heavy on it. Thought it may be as simple as tyres but pressure all ok. Noticed people posting problems with power steering. Is it ok to drive without power steering working or am I doing more damage not getting checked out?
Many thanks

Re: Steering
It won't do any harm. Have you checked the fluid level in the PS reservoir?

Re: Steering
If power steering fluid ok worth checking its the right c.v joints on car. I had same problem and my car had wrong cv joint. And the guy who repaired it said there was a bad batch made a couple of years ago. My car was chewing up bearings daily. And when fixed the steering was so much lighter.
