rear quarter window problem

this window doesn't close after the roof has been down, a friend pressed on the window and it closed but it won't close without a hand.
the motor sounds healthy, can anyone offer anything to narrow it down please?

You can try lubricating the seals with silicone spray.

GT85. I think Halfords stock it.

GT85 that Ian recommends is usually used on bikes and will pick up less dirt than WD40.

Hi there, i have a 2002 206cc and have ordered a repair kit for rear left window mechanism,
I am sure i have seen a video on refitting cables ect ect , i have looked for ages on you tube and safari but cant find it? Any help would be appreciated. Alos have a roof that doesnt work, but maybe when i refit the window ill be one step closer ??

Yes, plus every other Peugeot from 1998 (maybe earlier) to about 2017.

That's why its 13.4 Gb - its the Peugeot Service Box, but, unlike the online one, you have nothing to pay to access the servicing instructions and wiring information.

It's handy to also register as an independent on the Peugeot site, because that will take your VIN and serve up the info (in Characteristics) and parts specific to your car - you need the info to answer questions to zero in on the right wiring diagrams. The downside (as stated above) is that the illustrated instructions and wiring diagrams are pay-to-view, which is why I recommend the download manual as well.

Hi all, my rear window passenger side will not go up or down. The motor is working but it makes a clicking crunching noise like something is broken on stuck. The guy we got the car from said it was off the runners and very easy to fix. I am changing the speakers in the back in the next few days, can anyone advise how to put the window back on the runner please.

You would need to remove the trim to get at the mechanism to see what is wrong. There are repair kits available on eBay, if you find the mechanism is damaged.

To get access, follow the instructions in the manual mentioned in the preceding posts.
