Rear lights not working, everything else does.

As the title describes, my rear lights have an unusual problem.
All of the lights work, with the exception of the rear light itself.
rake lights functions as they should, so does blinkers and reverse lights.
Everything but the rear light.

Now, I've tried to swap out the bulb holder, after going through the wires - in hopes of finding a faulty ground connection, but I found nothing but great conditions and pretty connections - which I untightened and tightened back up, just in case.

I have no idea where to turn now.
Can you guys help me?

Check for volts at the bulbholder; if ok measure bulb for continuity. If not ok, check for volts at other end of wire, if OK replace wire.

I think I have done everything but change the wire.
It's part of that big bundle you then want me to unravel, to change a wire?
Yeah, there has got to be another way.

Don't unravel, just run a new wire outside the bundle. If you have volts at the supply end, and no volts at the supplied end, you have no choice - that is the only way to remove the problem.

Can somebody point me to the source of the rear lights?
No matter where I try, I just mess up something else and have to revert everything back to standard
