A cheap and questionable tacky mod but I like it

Hi,
Today whilst shopping in B&M i came across some led mood lighting that you would fix around a tv.
It comes on a roll and has double sided tape so you can stick it to the outer edges of a flat screen tv.It also has a remote to change the light color and to alternate it from constant, fade, manic flashing and brightness.
The backing strip is also black instead of the stark white so it blends in nicely on the black framed wind Deflector, all for the princely sum of £5.
Its also powered via a USB cable.
There's two strips on the roll about 2ft in length.
As ever I started overthinking about things and thought this would look great fixed onto the inner side of my wind deflector frame.
I carefully attached the strip and stuck it onto the inside facing part of the frame right up to the mesh, carefully tucked the wires away and plugged it into my USB adapter in the cigarette lighter.
The gordy flashing mode looked awful to be honest, plus it would be too distracting to the driver and probably illegal, but the solid red light setting looks rather nice..
It gives off a nice warm red glow reflecting off the black mesh behind the front seats ,and from the outside looking in through the rear window, possibly adding to more visibility to the rear.
I suppose it's a little subjective to say it looks great as some may think it's tacky.
For a fiver though ,I thought I would give it a try, to which I quite like it. (I should know better in my advancing years)
All the very best,
