Brake and Fanbelt Squeek !

Oki Initially when i got the car, brake start to squeek after a week. I took it back to them they said they polish the disc but its expected coz it new, i need to drive it a bit harder :rolleyes:
At 2000km it start squeeking again (intermitent and not as bad), i dont even bother calling them i just live with it until last week at 3500km FanBelt start to squeek in unison with the brakes :x cant take it anymore and call them.

Anyway here is the invoice for those who interested :

* Check Brakes Squeek
* Removed all Brake Pads Champhered edges and applied anti squeek on the pads

* Check on drive belt Squeeks
* Removed and replaced drive belt and tensioner pulley

Everything Oki so far... but i am curious
why would they replace the pulley?

My car went in for service 3 times already.

Never got a single service report.

Trung, you know when you pick up the car they ask for your name then they look at those pile of paper on their desk then take it and bring you to your car... ask for the copy of that. I dont usually get them either but after reading through the posts about all the different problems i am just curious to see what they actually did so i ask for it... heres a scan of it.

since it warranty repair so the tax invoice show $0.00 may be they assume we dont need it for tax purposes.
