as the title says this forum was added so that any disagreements/slanging/flaming etc etc could be contained in one place

will have to re-title it to 'flaming forum' or summat any ideas ???

How about closing the forum to new topics?

Then, move any topics which are getting out of hand so the flaming can continue off the main forum.

That's my $0.05 anyway :D

Because, at the end of the day, topics generally start off as just a question. Somebody then gets misunderstood and then all hell breaks loose.

Topics don't generally start off as slanging matches...

Yeah it might end up as the arguments plus de facto off-topic forum. But I don't necessarily see a problem with that seeing as some have been annoyed at off-topic stuff in the main info areas.

I know what you mean...I leave for a measly 7 months, and the next thing you know...I hardly recognise the place.

From what I can see though, good changes. Well done all concerned.

(And HOW MUCH did I miss my car over seven months...LOADS).[/img]
