Finally had the recall work done today after waiting about 2 months for parts etc!

As my car was one of the first UK ones it apparently needed 3 things doing (although all under the one recall notice):

wiring loom
sensing pins(?)
replacement microswitches

Garage needed it for a day but loaned me a courtesy car

Had a brief look around the roof folding mechanism before coming into work and noticed what looked like a few new parts so hopefully the roof will now operate more reliably :-)

Works OK now but only time will tell ;)

If it takes two bloody months to get the recall work done I think I better get my finger outta my a$$ and ring up the dealership.

Its pathetic that they send out a recall letter and they don't have the parts... Shows how organised they are!... Luckily for me I haven't had roof problems as yet.. **touch wood** I won't either!
