What's the deal with this? Surely all it will do is fragment the community. I know it could be argued that this site's name is inappropriate in the light of new CCs from Peugeot (307, 207?), but that shouldn't matter.
For example, 22b.com is a BBS for all performance cars, not just Scoob 22Bs.

i know it wasnt meant as an insult just its gettin a bit old now.........
end of the day if i or anyone else wants to start a website about something they are interested in i dont see why they should get flamed for it, not just in this case cause it does seem an honest question
but we arent aimed at exactly the same thing and to be honest every other car has a different club. Yuo could have said the same thing about this forum when the PGAC had a perfectly good forum!!!!
what steven and myself dont appreciate is all this hassle we are getting, especially cause he has worked so hard on creating what i think is a fantastic website and forum setup.
And people joining the site under a hider nickname just to *keep an eye* on whats goin on over there..... grow some balls and join on ya real name cause i know who you are

I know what you mean about it getting old, if people don't like it why don't they just ignore it, now the novelty has worn off a bit and its not being plugged over here every 5 minutes i don't think there is any need for bitching about it

Well I'm quite an infrequent visitor here, so I must have missed the original discussions.
It was just an honest question -- memories of when the 'other' CC BBS (www.peugeot206cc.com) disappeared.
So, if it's not too boring a question  what motivated you/Steven to create the site?
PS: I'm not too keen on registering just to see the content of the forums. I'd prefer to see if the content's worthwhile before registering.

i think it's mainly a general chat forum is there is very little about CC's.
pgac and this forum are not similar. pgac is an actual club and caters for all pugs but has very little to do with CC's where this site is everything to do with them.
although there are a few CC owners at pgac the feedback on CC's can often be negative - pure utter jealousy if u ask me

i personally don't agree with the forums being locked and said so a while ago to erm. the main reason being that you sometimes want to view a forum to have a look but don't necessarily feel a need to join it and post.
