Just found your forum, whilst researching the problem. Phew !!
I have a 1 yo 2L cc. With engine running and driving, noticed after a couple of min that all dials were at Zero !!
Speed/ rpm / Oil / water. Nada, no motion. Freaked me out.
Stopped / started car and engine a couple of times......no change. Drove on , then after 5 min. tried again..... voila , back to normal.
All dials were active again. It has been good for one day so far ( with a few stop/starts).
I note from Euro forums that this problem happened O/S.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem locally ? PS: only a day before I'd serviced the car at the dealer.
