I've got a kenwood setup and the sound quality is good!

I think any of the mainstream brands are good though I've only used Kenwood.

Possibly try a kenwood headunit and pair it with some decent speakers like MB Quart or Phoenix Gold.

Yep I'm a Kenwood fan as well, although I went for Phoenix Gold front speakers. There's no point swapping the back speakers - get a sub in the boot instead (who ever sits in the back of your CC?)

Hi there,

Saw your post i've got an alpine in mine (4x60 watts, and can be used with anything like ipods as they have clever little adaptors, and i'm going to upgrade the fronts to JL audio shortly, as for having a sub, you cant cut in to the rear bulk head, so in theory everyone will be listening to more of your bass than you, but if you do decide to to go for a sub and box go for a 8" JL audio Ho box...a bit pricey but well worth it.

Hope that helps

change the front and the back speakers other wise the sound stage in the car will be poo, if you go for a sony head unit and get a connects2 adapter you will keep the stalk and display as for the sub in the boot you will hear it fine
