I am sure this had probably come up before, but i just noticed this today on my CC and thought it was interesting.

As French stables Peugeot and Citroen are owned by a parent company, being PSA ........... has anyone else noticed the 'double chevron' logo of Citroen somewhere on our CC's ???

Loads of places, some plastic mouldings, fuse box covers and places like that, I was very surprised when I saw them and had no idea the two manufacturers were linked!

I was told once that Citreon was the test and development brand and Pug was for the tested and reliable stuff...hence the wacky Citreons of the past....(have you seen the Plurio or whatever its called ?)

And yes the Citreon build quality and customer service is even worse... :( but then again a new car for how much....what do you expect....

You get what you pay for usually...only problem was i could not afford the Merc... :D

Yeah Citroen is indeed the test and development brand ... Most parts and accessories or other stuff are first tested and proved in Citroen and then after most bugs and probs are fixed they are adjusted in peugeot...
Frankly peugeot doesn't have quitw so many probs like other brands do ...So we should not complain so much me thinks!! ;)
Thank God Its Friday...

You only have to play my favourite motorway game..........count the German cars broken down on the hard shoulder to see that the old theory of ultra reliability is a myth these days (oh my god I must be getting old that could be read as........german cars weren't like that when I was a lad).
