Rattly Dash - 99 206 GLX

Hi,
I've not got a 206 CC but a 3 door 206 GLX. I've had the car for a year and for the last 8 months, ive had a rattly dash, i.e. the dials shaking in the housing. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this or has the same problem? It drives me nuts along bumpy roads! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

seem to recall someone pushing a small piece of cardboard in between the clear plastic and the black trim surround, not a good look but may be only short term fix
