Hi,

I'm looking to go stay with my family in Australia for a few weeks at the begining of next year - all the resonably priced flights seem to be between £730 - £830 from Birmingham to Perth, am I looking in the wrong places? I've tried Quantas, Expedia & Austravel.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Danielle :D

seem to recall if you get a flight via japan (or maybe hongkong :? ),with a over nite stop over then fly onto Oz it works out 200-300 quid cheaper.

might have been departure lounge on bbc1 a month or so ago :)

We flew to Perth from Gatwick with Emirates and it was about £550. That was for Easter this year (March/April) You also get to shop in Dubai Duty Free which is an experience in itself!! Booked it through ebookers.

Have you been before? It's a fantastic city! You'll love it.

It's actually my first time! ;) :D

My cousin's just moved to Perth, already have another cousin there so it's really a trip out to see them. She wants me to move over with her & bring my car!!! Looks quite a hard country to get into though without a 'skilled' job. Will look into it though & thanks for the ideas. :D

Yeah it can be difficult without a skilled job - and just to think all you used to have to do was commit a major crime to get sent there

Do what I did. Get married, apply for residency and then stay!
