Newbie needing HELP with wiring - Please

Hi,

Firstly, great site you have here, credit to you all.

My problem is I've bought my wife a 52reg 1.4 Look 206 and it didn't have a radio in as the previous owner had removed their aftermarket when they traded it in.

I have bought an original Clarion cd player (separate display) and need to wire it up. The cd player has the three connector plugs with short wires ready to attach.
At the car end I have a bunch of coloured wires. I have identified all the speaker wires but am struggling with the rest. The colours don't match the colours on my connectors.

Does anyone have a close up photo of one wired up so I can copy for this one?

Appreciate any help or advice.

not sure what each wire does

, might be best to pop into your local car hi-fi shop or maybe a friendly peugeot dealer

have you tried doing a google search on the matter, i know i'm not much help

Appreciate your response. Yes, I have google'd but no luck. All my local car hi fi places are run by small time gangsters and I'd rather not go near them! so...main stealer its going to have to be.

What Are The colour of you wires coming from the car? Its Pretty Easyer to identie what the cables are?

if you camera phone and can upload a picture i'll have a look for you?

one block should have brown, yellow, red, blue, etc. these are the power wires. the other block should have greens and purples, etc. these are the speaker wires. If not connected to blocks, get block connectors and attach wires. different makes have slightly different colours and setups but should work anyway.
