In an eventual reply to correspondence to customer services, Peugeot have referred to this as 'an unofficial Peugeot website'. The letter also stated that the Peugeot technical department are 'obviously experts in all areas of our products'. I am still laughing now. Oh, and they also say my fault (cutting out and all warning lights on, sound familiar?) is not a recognised fault. Given they wouldn't recognise a fault if it slapped them in the face this is hardly surprising! Bitter and twisted, me, never!!

Complained to my dealer that the auto window (UP) wasn't working on the drivers side and suggested it was the ECU as it had recently been replaced.

Dealer 1: The windows don't have this function anymore because Peugeot had trouble with it!
Dealer 2: We have had problems with a number of cars - sometimes they work sometimes they don't - at least he was honest!
Dealer 3: 1st visit they ordered a new switch; 2nd visit wrong switch had been ordered; 3rd visit - it is now fixed Sir (oh no it wasn't); 4th visit - our electrician has sorted the problem (oh no he hasn't); 5th visit - we adjusted the ECU and it is fixed Sir (and finally it was).

Well b*gger me who would have thought it was the ECU (see top of note!!!!!)

search for the name CHUNG and you will find details about cutting out problems that Peugeot are aware of.

This is one a 307 that has had lots of problems and the latest the owner told me was that Peugeot are replacing it free of charge.

Tell Customer Services they are talking out their a***s.

Did that, nothing found except your mail Rob.

What annoys me about Peugeot and customer service is that a) there isn't any and b) they act as the soft voice of management who don't even bother to reply to letters.

I have to say that Peugeot Australia actually have their act together. This is my third Pug and never had a complaint in the world regarding after sales service! Much depends on the dealer, but even still I've found Peugeot's head office here communicative and responsive.

Cheers

Hi Frosty, I think the same goes for Peugeot in Norway too. I have only positive things to say about them. Its not their fault that the cars have problems, and they do what they can to get the mess right.
We will see if I say the same after they have given me an answer to the rejection claimb I have sendt them...
