Major boot problem

[size=]ok the story goes like this...

we have just changed the boot struts on my 03 plate 206 convertable and suddenly the car now keeps indicating that the boots not locked?

and as i drive over every bump the sensor/alarm keeps beeping at me and has affected my central locking function aswell

I dont really fancey taking it to peugeot garage untill i try a few things first

is there any sensor in the boot i can check or some other idea?

all help appreciated as the beeping is driving me mad lol

hi, i have sensor beepin non stop too, i put mine on ecu machine nothing come up as fault, been to main dealer for help, as mine is 01 plate they are not interested unless they see mymoney. id like to know where the sensor is on the car. seeing a mechanic tomorrow

I don't think I'd work for nothing either. Did you buy it from the dealer?
