Hello

I am selling my Peugeot 206cc. I've had the car for just over 2 years. I've just been offered a company car from my work hence why I am selling.

Please see the following link for more details

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... _full.y=10

(sorry, wasn't sure how to add a hyperlink so just copy and paste the above into the address bar)!

74,000 miles, 1.6 Sport S E, 51 Reg (Registered Feb 2002), Convertible, Metallic Blue, Petrol, Manual, ABS, Tax and MOT July 09, Air conditioning, Full Service History, Electric windows, mirrors and roof, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Alloy wheels, Remote central locking, Full Black Leather Interior, Pioneer stereo with remote control, i pod connectivity, LED rear lights (originals will also be supplied), Free Tom Tom Sat Nav. £4,200 ono.

It's not included on the advert but as you know the 206cc does not come with a spare wheel. I am selling my car with a spare matching alloy wheel/tyre.

If you need anymore information please ask.

Thanks

Getting my new car in the next couple of weeks quick sale would be helpful!

So any reasonable offers will be considered.

P.S. Will be selling LED lights seperatley (standard original lights to be supplied).

Thanks
Vanisha

Looks overpriced by about £1000 according to whatcar.co.uk
FREE VALUATION
Peugeot 206 Coupé Cabriolet (98-) 1.6 16V S 2dr 2002 (51)74,000 miles
Dealer £3,580
Private £3,250
Part exchange £3,185

Always difficult selling at this time of year, better to hold on until spring if you can. Good luck with the sale though. I wonder whether the timing belt been renewed yet? If it has it is worth saying.

After checking the Autotrader again I notice you've reduced the asking price to £3,500. It would have been worth mentioning that in your post so I've done it for you here.

Thanks.

I wrote on my post that any resonable offers will be considered.

Tell me about it, there are so many Peugeot 206cc's on sale on Auto Trader, no one seems to want them anymore! None of the Peugeot dealers are interested either.

I'm afraid that's the market in all cars at the moment. Dealers can't sell cars in the current climate so they don't want to tie up cash in stocks of them, so you'll get next to nothing offered in part exchange. You need to make sure that when people do a specific search on Autotrader yours is the first car that appears on a "lowest to highest price" basis in their search results.
The other way is an eBay sale with a low reserve to generate some interest. But as you will know the risk is that whilst it will sell, you may get peanuts for it.
I've recently sold a Mercedes C280 which I didn't want anymore. I got one serious offer, of £700 !!!, and let it go for that. At least my new car does 50mpg instead of 28.
Having said that, now is a good time to buy a car at a cheap price.
Good luck.

Thanks for that.

I know this recession has it's pro's and con's I guess. Decided not to go for the company car (I've just seen what car it is and it's not what I thought it would be!!!).

Seen a brilliant deal on a BMW up North and they have offered £2750 for my Peugeot which I will accept if it doesn't go in the week. Didn't think it was too bad considering one garage quoted me £1700 for it.

If it really is a good deal on the BMW, and they don't welsh on their agreement to give you £2750 p/ex then the p/ex offered doesn't look too bad. Make sure they've not just built in a big profit margin on the car they are selling so that they can afford a decent p/ex value for you. Mind you, the garage that offered you £1700 were being more than a little cheeky. You won't go there again will you!
Having said that, if there's nothing wrong with your Pug I'd be inclined to hang on until at least Easter to sell it. Convertibles always sell better in spring and summer.
Whatever, I hope you get the right deal for you.
Best Wishes, Ron

Hello,

I've sold my car but I still have the LED Lights which I am selling. All bulbs are working (you can see a pic of the lights in the below link).

http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww … _full.y=10

I've had them on the car for just under a year and am selling them for £100. I can arrange for free delivery by courier to any UK address (work or home).

As you know 206cc's do not have a spare wheel but I have a spare alloy (the same design in the link, it's been refurbished). It needs a new tyre but it was handy to keep at home in emergencies when I had a flat. I'm selling that for £75 but unfortunately I can't send it but if you live in London, Herts or Essex I'd be happy to drop it off to you.
