Exhuast Rattle

I have an exhuast rattle i believe to be from manifold its a 2.0 on a 52 plate, think it could be the twin skin type, question is can i drill some holes in to it and weld them? would this cure problem?

yes .weld the skins toghter and it will be good as gold. and no there is no special tools to do the followers.just make double certain that its timed up right when you take the timing belt off.

hi reap, i have got the same problem on my 2l, have you ever done this job before?
deantheone- has your car got a lack of power because of this prob?
