Drivers side window seems to close on outside of seal

Has anyone had a problem with the window closing on the outside of the seal, looks like the windows too big for the door. im not sure if it happened when the wind caught the door and pulled it out of my hand.
Does anyone know how much this will cost to fix as im taking it to the garage on Friday :/

it happens on my car all the time. i find if i close the door by putting my hand on the window, it doesnt happen but if i close it using the door itself it does ! it seems to be worse when its been raining, i have know idea if that has any relevance lol.
Will you let me know what they do to your car to fix it ?

i took it to the garage and i must say the guys at perkins garage were fantastic!!! they just adjusted the window slightly as it had moved either because hitting a pothole or the wind caught the door when i opened it but they fixed it all for free and gave me a coursy car, only took a couple of hours to fix!

This has been happening on my passenger side for years...more and more often in the last 5 months. I used to pull/nudge/help it along manually. Guess what...the window lifter was in its death throes. Just got it replaced today at a hellacious cost, but its perfect now.

I suggest you have that door taken apart and the lifter mechanism checked while its salvageable. Don't wait for the cables to snap like mine did.

ive just bought a cc today and have the same problem, do you mind me asking how much it would cost to go to a garage and ask them to adjust the window as not all garages would do it free i would imagine. Did they mention any price of what it would be? And also do you mind me what price range i would be looking at for a new window lifter if that was the case?
