Please can anyone tell me if they have experienced this problem ........
On several occasions now I have been driving along when (it feels) like my power steering has cut out, the steering becomes really heavy. However the engine then also completely shuts down, like the plug has just been pulled.
Strangely enough it always happens when I'm driving slowly coming off roundabouts. I have to pull over and turn the key again and the car starts again like normal.
I know I need to go to the garage about this, but just wondered if anyone can shed any light on this.
Any comments much appreciated ........
