Windows wont go up wen roof up

Hi all... been reading a lot on here since brought my 2002 PEUGEOT 206 CC convertible... when my roof is down the windows go up and down as and wen i press the windows button... and if the windows are up and i close the roof the windows come down automatically so the roof can close... so all well and good so far... BUT wen i put the roof up the windows wont come back up... confused... all i can think is the censer telling the windows that the roof is back in the closed position allowing the windows to close is faulty... any ideas pls... sounds like the sensors in the roof clips arent working - the windows will only come up if those latches are in place and so if the sensors there are faulty they wont be able to tell where the latch is, and so the windows wont come up... thats all i can think of... hope it gets sorted soon!

hi there... thanx for that... i have since located the problem... were the roof locks into place wen roof is up on the passengers side there is a switch that the roof bar pushes against that isnt working properly... wen i pushed the switch with finger the windows go up so i take it it is this you make reference to... do you kno if it is easy part to repair or am i better taking it to dealership... many thanx for ur time...
