Hello again,

sorry I only come on here when something's wrong, but I appreciate the advice!!

Last week my little 206 started feeling like it was being held back when I put my foot down, just suddenly stopped being as zippy as usual. It feels like there's something around the wheels dragging it, but I've looked and can't see anything, and I definitely haven't got any flat tyres as far as I can see.

Any ideas of what it might be / things I can check? Want to at least have an idea before I take it into the garage, and also want to get an idea of how long it might take to fix...

Many thanks yet again!

Nix :)

Does one wheel get very hot after driving (don't burn yourself checking) - if so the caliper for that wheel could be sticking and holding the pads to the brake disc.

Jack up that wheel and spin it by hand - is there strong resistance accompanied by a rubbing sound? Compare it to the other wheel on that axle.
