I'm coming down from Newcastle, and staying in reading somewhere, so an easy to find meeting place will be good. I don't mind people there without CC but only those who are waiting for theres, so in the meantime they can drool over ours

Then again there are a lot of boy racers around who may think this is some sort of cruise.

I think a park or something would be good, but not a car park, as we are bound to attract the wrong people.

So does someone suggest a day as well

hmm don't know reading that well i'm afriad so it'll need to be somewhere we can find. (not a mcdonalds carpark

or alternaltvly ... how about Swindon ? which is 20 minutes up the road (nearerer cardiff) I can think of at least two or three nice places.
maybe meet up at lydiard park (country house with grounds) and then cruise over to lechlade for a few cokes (start of the thames river, very nice place)

Nice ideas Paul but the idea was to be in Reading as thats where Col is heading and plus there are several of us in that area.
Plus if I go to Swindon I am bound to be enticed into the shopping outlet you have there!!!!

I am trying to think of some nice places in Reading where we can meet and or drive to after meeting up but brains not working today being a Friday! (No comments about it never working please Rob

)

Any other locals about to help of ideas?

Hmmmm, whatabout TGI Fridays? Just thinking of somewhere with a big enough car park to fit us all in! And a free car park... Or there's the Oracle and we can grab a beer (coke) by the stream? And Jules, you can go shopping with your birthday money!

soz I wasn't try to hijack the meet, just I know locations near swindon so i was suggesting them .. and as for the outlet village (ohh dear) mind you it's got a big carpark

Readings cool I'd prefer the chance to drive somewhere different anyway.

I hope the weather is nice in August. You would think being the summer but my 21st last year it rained ALL day! :sad:

actually stay away from Swindon ... it's a horrid place full of nasty people
