Dont think it'll fit, but to make it worse, you'll see LOADS of CCs in portugal there are everywhere over there, and cost the most to rent as well

Have a good holiday

No it won't fit - you could hire a company called "Heavylift" who would fly it (and about 40 other CC's) to Portugal on an Antonov-124 - but its v.v. expensive!

That maybe Derek, but you can't deny Gregs solution would have the most dramatic entrance on holiday, guaranted to turn more than a few heads an be chatted up (even more than Farouk).

I’m off to Portugal for my hols too, but I’m taking my Pug with me. It’s not that far and you get a chance to see more of the country as you drive down. After last year driving to South of France I decided that while I have the Pug I’m not going on holiday without it.

Well said Adrian - surely having a CC makes driving to your destination (if feasible) more fun than the actual holiday? ;)

well i'm actually thinking about getting mine over to the USA. The cunning plan is to take 6 months off, export the car over there and drive from the top to the bottom.

Cost to export is around £400 (quick search on the net to find that out) but I've no idea about insurances .. or parts for the car should something go wrong

now now ... actually not had any problems with my car other than the usual new car gremlins. mind you i only had it for two days before disapearing to the us for a month to work. My parents 'borrowed' it then so maybe it kept disapering in the garage then ? ;)
