Didn't you take it for a test drive and try everything out including the roof before you agreed to buy it?

I'd just take it back and tell them you want your money back. If they could fix it they would have. Could be hydraulic fluid but could also be one of the many micro-switches. If they are not Peugeot 206cc specialists they are unlikely to know how to fix it. I'd just ask for your money back.

Well done, you seem to have got it in the right place. The roof can be temperamental with new owners who don't bother to read the owners manual thoroughly but I'm sure you'll have done that. Hopefully you'll get the car back in perfect working order with a full explanation from the garage as to what was causing the problem.

Let us know the outcome please.
