Air bag Light problem? Code read

Air bag light on my car being on for a month. When plugged and dignosed with peugeot planet, it show the following fault code:

"permanent fault driver's module trigger - level 1 Short circuit"

When I try to clear the fault code with the software, the light disaapear for a moment and then come back on again. I have have checked the socket under both seats and clean it with electirc contact cleaner (seems like this is not the cause of the problem). If water being accidently pour into the tray where the airbag ecu is under it, will it cause this fault?

I will be grateful if anyone can give me any advice on this.

Couldn't the Driver's Module be another name for the COM2000 unit?
