BECM "sleep" mode

Morning all,

I'm having a few roof problems and am trying to tick things off the list.

I saw a post from years ago by Reap, suggesting after manual closure, the car needs to be locked, so BECM can go to sleep.

I haven't been locking it, as the car is garaged, so i wonder if that means the BECM stays awake?
