Multi function display

Post by Bootyx67 »

Can anyone help please? I have an 02 reg cc - the multi function display is showing what looks like a mileage counter to the side of a stick with a diamond shape on top, its where the date usually is, it was showing the date when I first had it for about a month or so, now it will only show the date if i press the left hand little black button, after about 10 seconds this mileage reading pops back up. Does anyone know what this is and how to get it back to the date permanently?
Thanks in advance ;)

Press the button on the end of the wiper stalk, and you'll see it cycles through lots of useful info such as instantaneous mpg, average mpg, trip distance, average speed...and of course date.

Why don't you download manual here http://www.peugeot206cc.co.uk/downloads/handbook.pdf

I think what you are seeing is shown on page 79/80.

Thank you so much to the both of you, that is exactly what I'm seeing...in miles obviously, but that is good to know the answer. I must of hit the button at some point instead of the stereo stalk to change source haha!!!
Very great full, thx :)

Do the multifunctional control switch have a habit of packing up? My girlfriends 02 cc has a little triangle on the the end of the wiper stalk but u press it and nothing happens. Also we've tried resetting the service indercator as per wat it says in the handbook but it doesn't want to count down. Don't surpose there related?

New to the forum and to be honest I haven't used the search bar.
