If any one knows any good ice installers that have done this already I would appreciate names and numbers!!! thanks!

p.s I tried phoning my local peugeot dealer who said there electrician wouldn't touch it due to the multiplexing and the fact that it was all fibre optic now ?!?!?!
Has any one else managed to get a 12 volt ~3amp feed that comes on when the ignition/ accessory position in switched on?
Is it possible to power from the stereo headunit?

Mark,
If you're interested in a way to change your headunit so that it works with the ignition switch check out my topic suject 'Replacing Multiplex HeadUnit' found in the ICE section. Or alternatively I've set up the link below:

Recently I have managed to take the new ignition cable from the suggestion given by fanmail. He suggested hooking the power cable to the cables to the glovecompartment light. Just remove the headunit and look inside up to the fans and you'll see the cable running to it. This cable works with the first ignition position, just remember to fit a fuse on this line. Good luck.
As for running a power cable from the battery to the boot, the only difficulty is finding a suitable place to get the wire from the engine compartment through to the dash. The easiest way is to take the glovebox out. As for getting it through to the boot you have to take the rear seats out and then it's easy from there. There are lots of threads here which will explain the procedure of dismantling the rear seats (check out the ICE section for rear speaker installaion). The procedure is pretty straightforward anyway. If you have any doubts about installing the equipment get someone else to do even if you have to pay someone. The worse thing you can do is a botch job and ruin your lovely car.
