hi everyone,
forrest here, cant post much yet just joined, visited the site 2 weeks ago when my wife's 206cc ran into bother ,wouldn't start, solved now and have a solution, but it wont let me post it, user error i'm afraid.
was keen to share the solution and what caused it.
anyway maybe when I figure out where I,m going wrong on the site I can post it.

Well I've just read forrest's post under Electrical ... very useful. And proves he's now a fully-fledged member!

BTW: £60 is quite a lot for a diagnostic code read. There are member on here (possibly) and on PeugeotForums that have PP2000 (Peugeot Planet) the auto guy mentioned and only charge half that. But needs must!!! :oops:

£60 is about the trade going rate using genuine diagnostics. I have £££££££££ invested in diagnostic equipment which sooner or later needs updating / replacing. It all needs paying for. Also auto electrician came out to the car. I think it was fair.

Still better than the £80-100 a dealer would charge ... plus Very Awful Tax ...
