Where is my fuel filter?

Hi, I have a 2004 1.6 petrol 206cc (a blue one ) Runs nice and its at 62K miles.
Just changed oil + filter (Total 5w40 synthetic) and also air +pollen filter changed.
Can a kind person explain or better yet show a photo of where the fuel filter is located as I am thinking of changing this too.
Also a run through of how to gain access to and change the spark plugs would be most welcome.

Spark plugs are easy .. just remove the coil pack that sits in top and under the engine cover. Ours is held in with three longish small headed bolts (IIRC) and once you disconnect the cables from the right hand end should pull off. Plugs are deep in between cams so you will need an extension or long plug spanner to remove them. Be careful with the choice of plugs as some don't work properly depending upon your coilpack make. We fitted Super 4 plugs to the 2.0 and it's been great (the original plugs in our car had Peugeot logos, were really worn and could have been originals from 2001!!)

Fuel filter I think is under the car near the pump ... but I've not changed one so may need help here.

Not great but that is under the car next to the fuel tank ... not sure what model but all Petrol are same (Diesel it's under the bonnet!)

Try googling "peugeot 206 petrol fuel filter location" ... that's all I did ... then sift through the hundreds of results! :-)

Jack up the off side of the car and support. You will see the filter just inboard and to the front of the right rear tyre.
Either end of the filter is a quick release fitting. Squeeze the two "square buttons" together and pull the fittings off.
Depending on the filter holder, it is either held in with a bolt or it pulls out.
Make sure you fit the new filter with the "in & out" the correct way round. The fittings push on until they click in place. You will loose some fuel while doing this but not much.
Start car and check for leaks.

Engine sounds even nicer following the oil & filter change, (I was very careful not to overfill it), tyre pressures are set at 35psi (they are 195's).

I have been searching for ages to find a guide or even a photo to state where the fuel filter is, got fustrated and just gave it a go. It is rather straight forward (When you know where the thing is).

On the Peugeot 206 cc 1.6l '01 (and I assume the 2.0l too) it is located 'hidden' driver side just under the sill, where the jack point is. It is housed in an annoying plastic housing that I found rather hard to get the filter out of (maybe it was just stuck).

I dont have a jack/ramps so just put the drivers side tyers on the curb, made it a bit tight underneath however. I then undid the second hose to the middle of the car, petrol gushed out of it so used the stopper that came with the new filter to stop it. Then removed the 1st hose from the filter, again petrol came out but not much. On the other side I undid the only hose connected, again petrol came out but not much. NOTE: I used a wash basin lined with a bin bag to catch the petrol that came out.

Because of the stupid housing I had to bend the two black clips that hold the filter in place a bit as it was very wedged in there.

Fitted new one in place (about £7 from eurocarparts) making sure the arrow is pointing in the same way as the one I removed. and clipping the hoses back on firmly.

Turned the key for a few seconds and the car started. Hopefully my random lack of power from stop, stops happening now. In any case the fuel filter hadnt been changed in a long time.
