Windows not working

Post by KrisD »

Hi all, just joined the club and I am very impressed with the knowledge of the members as this allowed me to cure a known issue of 'electrical' faults by changing the battery on my wife's 2004 1.6 Allure. However this has now thrown up a new fault in that the windows no longer work. Checked the fuse and that is ok, but I believe there are a relay switch and a cut-out switch for the windows and I am thinking one or both of these may have tripped? The problem is I am unable to locate these so could anybody point me in the right direction please.
Thanks in advance, Chris

Hi Chris and welcome.
I have to go out now for the evening but if no one else steps in before hand, I will look up wiring diagrams tomorrow.
Cheers Col.

Hi Chris. Firstly apologies for not getting back sooner. Not been on PC since I last posted to you.

Fuses involved are MF07 & MF04 (Engine fusebox) then F9 & F 12 (fusebox by your knee. There is also a relay in that same fusebox.
Good luck. Hope you sort it.
Cheers Col.
