Re: heater control lights
Hi Keith,
There are 3 bulbs in the heater control panel ( I have climate control one so not sure about manual one), you need to remove the bezel that goes around the centre radio/ top screen, this has 2 clips at the bottom and 2 screws at the top, start by releasing the top screen there is a clip at the centre facing the screen, once this is free undo the 2 screws you will need a spline drive to do this.
Once the surround is off there are 4 spline drive screws holding the heater panel in place (I am assuming the manual heater panel is fixed the same way). Once these screws are removed push the panel back into the space below the radio, you need to lift the bottom of the panel to get it out, there are 3 looms connected on the back 2 on the left and one on the right, the top left clip has a cammed locking clip the one below that I could not unclip, the one on the right is a standard peg clip just push the release clip in and pull.
The bulbs are 509t, the standard ones are about 2.45 each from most dealers or Halfords, I bought 10 509t white led bulbs for £4.67 on Ebay so it is worth shopping about.
I hope it helps

Hi Keith,
I did try to to check he size of the spline drive, sadly I have one of those cheap sets of mag tips and there are no sizes on the the tips.
