passenger seat

when passenger seat is operated to allow someone to get in the back. the seat does not lock back in new position.
seat operates fine when nobody in the back.

had the same problem on daughters car got another seat runner off ebay think there is 2 different sizes so check hope you get sorted

Are you pushing the handle forwards or backwards?

Didn't realise it made difference.

You push the handle forward to enble the seat to fold and slide forward so people can get in the back, if you push the handle backwards it will just allow the back rest to swivel. If it wont lock into place anymore hold the seat bottom in place push the handle backwards so the back rest matches the rear seat angle then push the handle forward and push the back rest forward, then let go of the handle and pull the seat back sharpish it should lock into place now

Hi again Bertie. I See You know about about the passenger seat handle. My Naughty boys had an argument about who was going to sit in the front,To cut a long story short they pulled the handle clean off the bolt that adjusts the seat. Do You know how to fix it Yourself or do You have to get a professional to fix it. I hope You don't mind Me asking I just thought You might know as You have a similar car

Sounds like the plastic handle has broken. Undo the bolt, fit new handle and do the bolt back up.

Thanks I will see if I can get a handle online. The Peugeot dealers in my town are so expensive they are charging Me $420.00 for a new drivers side lock.
