Hand brake light
Hi hand break light staying on flickers when you use hand break go,s off for a second and then back on any ideas.

Probably the microswitch at the base of the lever needs adjusting, or gone faulty.

Hi its got me confused when you get in the hand break light GOS on and off as it should when you drive away the light comes on and stays on? 206cc 2001 2lt.

Yes its full right up looks to much to me could this cause it?? Also fitted new switch.

Too much wont be a problem.
If you can get to the handbrake switch disconnect it to see if thats the fault

I would suspect the float switch in the hydraulic fluid reservoir cap. Overfilling could have contaminated the contacts, which should be clean and dry.
I may be wrong but I don't think diagnostics will tell you anything new.

Hi I tried that and light stays on I went out in the car today started her up and when I went over 8mph red light came on and stopped on all day I am trying to get some info on electronic brake force distribution?
