Hi Capncol
I am going to attempt to repair the wifes 206 Ma5 gearbox front input shaft bearing and I have been looking at the photos you have put online.
your instructions for stripping the box down stop when you get to the reverse gear..and the pictures continue to the full strip down.
Can you please give me a little more info on what I need to do to get to the front input shaft bearing please.
Thanks
Terry

Re: I just bought another 206cc
The problem was with the reverse and I only stripped it down completely just to check everything else was OK.
It was done more for interest rather than a *how to*
Anyway, if you unbolt the selector mechanism, and knock out the remaining roll pins, you can take it out as one assembly. Check the diff bearings while you are there.
Good luck. Start a new thread if you get stuck and I will try and help.
