Passenger Side Door Mirror

Post by gazza82 »

Well some really nice person has taken the door mirror out on my daughter's CC (car park!) ... glass is cracked and mirror is just about holding in place but it's pretty loose now ... luckily the body coloured cap is fine so I can do a straight swap I hope.

...so guess Daddy has to trawl fleabay for a replacement ...

It's the electric operated one but just the manual folding type so any suggestions on which one I look for?

There's one showing white plug sold by newvehiclepartsonline at a good price. Item No. 131299721445.

I did see somewhere that the difference between the 206cc and the 206 (others) was slight, and, as the 206cc is usually more than double the (others) price, it was easy to modify the latter with an angle grinder - removing some metal from the inside casting. Oddly enough, I had to buy one for my daughter's hatchback recently, and when it came, I had to do just that, so I'm guessing the information is wrong, and at least some clones just have this casting error. Anyway, if yours won't fit at first, the problem is easily overcome.
