When we have the roof down our passenger window on our 206 cc 2.0 SE squeaks like crazy. Drives me crazy too.
If you drop it down an inch or so it minimises the problem a bit, but not altogether. The window also seems to rattle when you close the door with the roof down.
Any suggestions on how best to counter this?

Sounds like you need to adjust the window guide in the door. Remove the door card and you should be able to find the slotted holes for the fixing screws. Try adjusting glass tighter or looser to rear glass and see if that helps

A Haynes manual would be a good guide. It's one of those jobs that is difficult to describe as the adjustment takes a certain *feel* to get right, otherwise you just keep adjusting a bit at a time and try it. When it's right, put the door panel back on.

Himself is out and about at the moment, but I will let him read that later.
