Reversing light not working

Post by Mitchy »

Neither of our reversing lights on our 2005 2.0 SE 206cc are working.

Both the bulbs are fine, the switch appears to be fine - power is going through it at the right current - and yet the lights are not on.

Can anyone suggest whether there is a fuse somewhere that we can't find. Or any other advice.

Thanks

Fuses are all listed in the owners handbook. If you don't have one , you can download it from our site.

Right, if we are reading the handbook right it is fuse number one in the engine bay - he's taken it out and it is intact with no hint of corrosion at all. :o

Yes that would be it. Have you checked the bulb holders themselves? They can sometimes get water in taillight unit and cause corrosion to the bulb holders.
