Re: Suspect squeaky rear suspension
You haven't really described the noise or the conditions that cause the noise. It could be anything

Sorry.
Sounds like a squeak.only when you push the back end of car down.which I thought it was the shocks.
Is there anything else that would cause the noise

Re: Suspect squeaky rear suspension
A seized ball joint my guess but in order to find out you would need to identify which joint is the problem. You get the squeak from moving parts not moving so well.

Shocks/ axle pivot bearings/ bushes/ mountings/ even the tyre rubbing on inner wheelarch.
Can you get some one to narrow it down a bit?

Hi all
Changed the shocks on rear.good job I did as the old were shot.compressed shocks still compressed no movement.
Still got my squeak.
Heading more towards the axle bearings. The sound is if rubber rubbing together noise.

Need to find out the torque settings on the wheel hub nut.
Thanks
