Hi I am new to the 206 . Infact this is my 1st one . Only had it 4 weeks and the gearbox has gone .
Well it's making a grinding sound when u put it in gear & take your foot off the clutch . Have taken it to my garage that told me the gearbox has gone as I 1st was thinking it was the clutch.
It's only a 1.4 206 . 2002 plate . Can only one tell me would a KFW code work on my car , I just got one off eBay for a good price but the code I am sure on mine I can only find says or has KFW
Will that one work & are there a lot of different types out there for them , as the man I am getting it from told me that the 1.1/ 1.4 are the same . & as long as my code says KFW it will fit . Is this right .

Someone on here may know but as this forum is for owners of the 206cc (Coupe Convertible) and none of our cars have the 1.4 or 1.1 engine you may do better asking on the http://www.206info.co.uk forum which caters more for owners of the hatchback versions.
