New Headunit

Hi, I've brought a sony headunit to replace the none working CD peugeot one fitted.
Having removed the old headunit, i have 3 plugs/sockets connected.
1 Black plug which is the power etc
1 White plug for the speakers
1 multicoloured plug which is for ?(my thought is the radio steering stalk but i could be wrong)

If this is right great, if not, what is the multicoloured plug for? :scratch:
If it ain't broke, leave the thing alone!
