Re: Car sometimes not turning over
When I bought the Polo for Pat we agreed a sale of the 206cc with someone but she hasn't proceeded with it yet. It is complicated and I am by no means sure that it will go through. I don't mind, if she doesn't end up buying it I shall just hang on to all 3 cars for the time being. There is nothing wrong with it and it would be nice to have it to use still when spring and summer arrive. You've done more miles in yours in 18m than we've done in ours in 10 years!

Re: Car sometimes not turning over
Something odd has occurred since replacing the starter motor. The intermittent misfire loss of power that happened every now and then has not happened. I don't know what I could have done to fix the problem. The battery connection had seemed good, the plug to the coil was fine. So I don't know what happened to right the wrong. The car is quick and responsive so I can rely on a zippy performance on roundabouts.

Re: Car sometimes not turning over
Sold now to my youngest daughter's closest friend whom we have known since she was about 10. She is over the moon with the car. She remembers when I got it for Pat's birthday 10 years ago and has always admired it. One very happy bunny! End of an era for us, but it is considered as "remaining in the family" by my grown up kids.GrandadMonkey wrote:When I bought the Polo for Pat we agreed a sale of the 206cc with someone but she hasn't proceeded with it yet.
