I have a problem with the window switch on my 2002 2.0se model .
The window switch is faulty , I got a replacement on ebay but operating it blows the fuse . The switch I need has the mirror adjustment as well , but I was wondering because the roof needs power from / to the windows to operate will only a switch from a CC model work correctly on my car .
Ladies & Gentlemen your thoughts please

Re: Windows switch
Im totally confused with the power to the windows ,
When I turn on the ignition the windows go down on their own , I then manually put them up and all is well
Very strange ,
The roof still works fine .

Re: Windows switch
Make sure the new and old switches have the same numbers on them

Re: Windows switch
Just a suggestion
I had this problem when i got my cc, behind the glovebox, where the wiring goes through the A frame for the door there was a blue connector that had been disconnected accidentally from removing the glovebox.
When I reconnected it everything worked properly again.
Just something to check, if you pull out the large plug on the end of the dash board by the side of the glovebox you will be able to see the blue connector there,

Re: Windows switch
Is there a way to check the switch without connecting it? because I'm guessing you will only know once you already bought a new switch and the windows still doesnt operate.
