Hello, UK-based 206cc people.
My wife and I live in Tasmania, Australia. The 206 is my wife's (I have an X1/9). One of our friends has a 206cc, too, & it's hers that playing up.
Her N/S window is stopping just short of all the way up when she puts the roof up (a couple of cm). She says it sounds funny, too. Any ideas what might be causing this? It doesn't sound like a switch; if it were, I'd have thought it wouldn't work at all.
Cheers from Down-under.
Alastair

Re: N/S window not winding up fully after roof put up
Check whether the window comes up fully when the door is open. If it does, it suggests that the rear quarter window is obstructing the front window. Both windows can be adjusted, by removing interior trim and slackening mounting bolts.
If the problem only happens with the roof up, it suggests the roof is impeding the raising of the quarter window, and my first action would be to try adjusting that one.
The details of removing the trim and window adjustment are in the Service Box procedures.

Thanks, Ian and Col. I'll try what Ian suggested and go from there. It's the front window. Will update you when I've had a bit of a play.
Cheers,
Alastair.

Re: N/S window not winding up fully after roof put up
Ian and Col,
I disassembled the N/S front door and accessed the winder mechanism, and noticed that the rear cable seemed a bit slack. Upon closer inspection, I found the the grey plastic pulley at the top of the door and around which the cable rolls had broken away, leaving the cable to pull against the shaft. The 15 or so mm less circumference would account for the window not going all the way up and the noise that was being made. It appears that parts may be available online but possibly as a whole kit - not just the pulley. Either way, it'll still be way cheaper than getting Hobart's Peugeot 'specialists' to fix it. Thanks for your advice. I hope that this adds to the bank of 206 cc window knowledge.
Cheers,
Alastair.
