My cousin already has her CC but someone has had a go at the Wheels and made a few scratches. I dont have the heart to ask her about security and if they are locked?

Im wondering if the 206cc's alloys come with locking kit? (not sure on the real name of this but im sure you'll follow me

Anyway id like to know if i need to purchase additional security before mine is delivered.

My understanding is that CC's come standard with locking nuts in the UK. Here in Australia they're an option - not expensive around equivalent 20-25 Pounds

well alloys are an option on the 1.6 so you should ask your dealer if they are fitted with locking wheel nuts.

if the mud flaps are £55 i take it they are plain black and not colour coded ?

i wouldn't get mud flaps again but if i was i would get the styled ones that are painted even if your CC was black

I got my dealer (Belmont-Edinburgh) to throw in front mudflaps-moulded ones but I had to pay for paint-and a set of luxury mats FOC. They said the moulded ones couldn't fit the rear bumper so it's just the fronts for me but they look really nice.

You get them colour coded or do they have to be painted??? The dealer didnt seem to know much about accesories really

I got Moonstone, didnt fancy black as my car gets instantly covered in a coat of dust without fail at work - v.annoying.

mvoong: i dont follow why they wouldnt fit the back ? I dont think my mud flaps on my 206LX even touch the bumper?

I was told the mudflaps are moulded to shape the bumper and the cc rear bumper is different as is the GTI so the moulding does not fit snuggly onto the back. This is the case for the front where the mudflaps mould onto the bit in front of the doors. Yes these have been painted to the colour of my car in this case Aegean blue. They are made out of rigid plastic and so they can be easily painted unlike black rubber ones which can't. Hope this answers your question.
