Finding 206CC parts part numbers?

Since I'm not in UK and there are no local supplier for the 206cc, i need to order parts thru ebay at euro car parts. However, they are asking for the part numbers to be sure. Where can i check the part numbers of the timing belt, tensioner, bearing and water pump for a 2005 206cc 1.6 16V automatic petrol?

You can get every part number for your car by putting the last 8 digits of your VIN (called the VIS) into the Peugeot Service Box [url]www.http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/[/url]. Some people manage to register to use it, but it is picky about your ISP, so you may be unlucky.

The alternative is to buy the software on EBay, and fiddle around with cracks and passwords. I tried that, but the best way for me was http://www.emanualonline.com/Cars/Peugeot.htm. You get the service box documentation (which includes the procedures, i.e. repair instructions, which the online version will only give for payment) and the SEDRE (wiring schematics, diagrams and location drawings). Installation instructions are excellent, and you get the full thing for all the listed Peugeots, not just the one you click. Best £9.99 I ever spent.

If you are in a hurry, my car is also a 2005 1.6 auto, so I could give you the numbers for that, but it would be much better for you to send me your VIS, to be sure. Design changes do not occur by year, but by Build Code, which can be obtained from the VIS.

Yes , I can't seem to register on the service box site. do you need the VIS or VIN? So for GBP9.99 the documents includes repair and maintenance information? cool.

Timing Belt Kit 0831 R9. (Individual parts: Tension roller 0829 C8, Roller 0830 62, Timing Belt 0816 86. but better to buy the kit)

Not too impressed with Euro Car Parts. The genuine item on EBay is cheaper as well as the real thing. See here.

Is that so, some guys at facebook 206cc recommends euro car parts. If not from euro cars, how will I know their offering genuine parts. Like the link you provided has no specific brand name? or will I rely on their indication that is from citroen and genuine?

It's your decision. They have 17039 pos feedback. Or do an EBay search for "Citroen Peugeot 0831R9" and see for yourself. The second hit shows the Peugeot part no. in the pic.
