The very best are the Peugeot Service Box Documentation (parts and procedures) and the SEDRE (wiring diagrams and location drawings). The best way to get them is http://www.emanualonline.com/Cars/Peugeot.htm and you get the full set for ALL the models listed (not just the one you click!). Easy to install - full instructions and, no, i'm not on commission :)

Where can we get these manuals that have the information for the 1.6 petrol engines?

If you mean printed manuals, I read recently that the Haynes for the 207 includes the 1.6 engine, but it is not necessarily identical to that in the 206.
