Hi,
As per Peugeot 206cc user manual, the only recommended AL4 automatic gearbox ATF is ESSO brand ATF 4HP20-AL4 PR 9736-22. What replacedment can be used if not available? Or is it non replaceable and I have no choice but to just order or find one on ebay?
TIA
What can replace ESSO cc ATF?

Re: What can replace ESSO cc ATF?
It's been rebranded as Mobil ATF LT 71141. Esso and Mobil brands are both owned by Exxon. See http://pds.mobil.com/Italy-English/Lube ... 71141.aspx
As far as I can make out, if you want a large drum it's branded Esso, and if you want a small bottle, it's branded Mobil. But they are the same company and both are referenced as LT71141.
Plenty on EBay.

There are no stockists of LT71141 in the Phils ( a couple of Mobil dealers in Manila though). Nearest stock holding is Hong Kong or Singapore. Penrite in Australia claim to have an equivalent for the AL4 which seems to work for aussies. The warmer climes possibly helping with the viscosity.

There seems to be no recommended replacement for the Esso LT71141. The brand Pentosin is what I saw in ebay claiming to be equivalent, but didn't saw the essoLT71141 n ebay.
